WISHLIST: Feburary 2013

1: Giraffe Onesie (Buy Here) - I never owned a onesie and I've been eyeing on this one for ages which I hope I will get one this month. It look so cute and cosy to wear on a lousy day.

2: La Lune T-Shirt (Buy Here) - So lately, I've been obsessed with moons and graphic t-shirt. As soon as I saw this on the website, I fell in love with that top!

3: Eye Cream (Buy Here) - I've heard a lot of reviews about how good it is and I would love to try one in ages. They eye cream will make your eyes look more awake which is good for me because every time I look sleepy and tired.

4: Hat (Buy Here) - I'm really obsessed with hats lately. I love the colour but I'm not sure it will suit me but I really want to buy it for some strange reasons.

5: Models Own Set (Buy Here) - Since spring and summer are coming up, the colours of the nail polish will suit the seasons and the colours makes me happy so, every time I will paint it on my nails will make me smile or happy everyday.

Unfairness

My topic today is prom. In Scotland, or at least, in my school we don't have homecoming or proms. We do have a formal but that is only for the sixth years-F.Y.I the people in their last year leaving school- anyhow I am very jealous of Americans and whoever else has dances at their schools. Watching teen movies where these girls spend weeks on end picking out their perfect dresses and the perfect shoes and the perfect bag and having the perfect hairstyle and in general to have the perfect prom make me desperately want one for myself so I too can pick out all the perfect things. A night they will "never forget" is how prom is described. 

A while ago I watched this film called Prom featuring Aimee Teegarden and she plans prom all by herself after all the other members of the committee drop out and this rebel guy has to help her out. GUESS WHAT? *SHE FALLS FOR HIM!* Anyway, I really liked the film even though it was a Disney one. It did look magical, the prom I mean. The main character also had a really pretty dress... 

I also watched Pretty In Pink with my mum recently and it made me want to possess to ability to sew and make my own clothes. Molly Ringwald as the leader of the "brat-pack" took apart somebody else's prom dress and made it her own as pictured above.  I now adore 80's films and want to watch every teen movie made in the decade out there. I thought I would add a couple of photographs of prom dresses I would love to wear to my own one. Obviously I like the strapless/bright-coloured/pastel/sequiny ones. Although I wouldn't normally go for all the glitter and stuff I must admit you need a little bit of sparkle on your prom dress after all, it is a "night to remember"...

I want to make sure I fairly credit everyone for their pictures so prom poster, molly ringwald, green dress, gold dress, girls in dresses

Spring Cycles

On the magical and mystical world of tumblr there have recently been many a picture of girls cycling on their totally retro bikes. I personally am envious of them all because my mum and I share our bike and it isn't set for my height so I feel like a hunchback. I wanted one for my birthday a couple of years ago but apparently it wasn't the best idea so I was told I should "think of something else"... I really do like cycling and it is a very good thing to do. Very healthy. I don't know what part of your body it does any good to but I presume it some of the muscles in your legs.?  I have included some photographs from We Heart It. Most of the bikes in the pictures are those ones that I really like. I know that one brand is called Electra Bikes but I'm unsure about the rest of them. :D sorry about that...

Unexpected Purchases

Right about now I would usually be apologising for not posting anything for like two months but I can honestly say that I have been so busy with everything I just haven't had time. So, I am sorry and I feel bad for not posting but I had no time. Anyway, let's get on with the blog.

For some reason my school has had a six day weekend and I go back to school tomorrow :( I have spent most of the time convincing myself I'm doing my homework when I'm actually playing the Sims or something. I decided I needed to get out of the house so I asked my friend Rona if she wanted to go to Starbucks. She agreed and off we went.  I had my usual chocolate cream and Rona had some form of coffee that she ended up not liking. 

I wanted to go to Superdrug to get a lipstick because I had seen a picture on tumblr of a girl wearing a nude shade and I really liked the look of it. I was swatching loads of pale colours on my hands and I finally found one! It is called 'I'm sweet' by Miss Sporty, Shade 007. When I took it to the till, I thought it was going to be £2.59 and it turned out to be £1.59. HAPPY LEELEE. It also smells like watermelon so if you want some watermelon lipstick, GO BUY IT NOW.

We also went in to Primark and for once i saw lots of things I liked but I only bought two. I saw a navy playsuit with a little white triangular collar(which I originally thought was a dress) and a pair of sunglasses i had wanted ages ago but wasn't in the mood for standing in a huge Great Wall of China queue. Both items were on sale. The playsuit was reduced from £16 to £7 and the sunglasses from £2 to 50 pence.
